Two industrial battery systems, compared from the data sheet

Our current range centres on the Ampd 200 and Ampd 400, mobile battery energy storage systems made by Ampd Energy. Every figure here comes from the manufacturer’s IEC brochures and keeps its revision, unit and duration.

Which unit suits a project, and in what configuration, is settled by a technical assessment. Availability for your territory is confirmed in your proposal.

Nominal output is the number to plan around

Each unit has three output ratings. The nominal rating is what it sustains. The two overload ratings are higher but time-limited: one for up to 60 seconds, one for up to 10 seconds.

Overloads matter for motor starting and short lifts. They are not a larger continuous rating, and the brochures do not set out the conditions for repeated overloads, so demanding duty cycles are checked by an engineer.
